Why Analyze Hay?

Nearly all hay is unbalanced relative to your horse's mineral needs.

The chances that any one feed or supplement will balance any given hay is highly unlikely.

Compared to the cost of expensive feeds and supplements, hay analysis and mineral balancing is typically very reasonable in cost.

Only add the minerals your horse needs, don't create overload or toxicity situations by adding something the hay is already providing.

How Vital Balance Equine Helps Horses:

My business started out as an Equine Touch (TM) practice (Minnesota Equine Touch, LLC). When I started studying Equine Touch in 2004, I was learning Equine Touch to offer something more for my own horses and improve their well-being. Once I started learning it and the dramatic affect it had on horses, I was naturally led down the practitioner path simply by my need to know as much as I could about it. I truly enjoy the opportunity to help a horse whenever I can and that is why I have this business. With a never ending thirst for knowledge I have expanded my repertoire to hay analysis and mineral balancing for the equine diet. Meeting the nutrition needs and offering balanced minerals to the horse can also have a very dramatic affect on a horse. Body work such as Equine Touch is not always part of horse owner's equine maintenance routine, but feeding them is! Horses are fed every day and many owners feed, in addition to hay or pasture, at least one feed and possibly an assortment of supplements trying to make sure their horse is getting the vitamins and minerals he/she needs.
